Few workers have any idea how to apply for disability benefits - the medical evidence required and the amt to expect or even where to obtain that info. It would be helpful to include this info here and to remind all concerned that time here is of the essence. Workers must apply with the requisite medical evidence in a very timely manner and are well advised to seek legal counsel early in the claim to ensure proper procedures are foll'd on bth sides. Helpful info like this should be much more widely available as a general rule. Anything less results in ugly and expensive litigation at a time when sick/injured worker should be directing energies toward recovery.
